Partnership with Children Awarded $6.5 Million for the Social Services Block Grant
Partnership with Children is excited to have received $6.5 million from the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) so that we can better prepare our schools and communities to care for our kids in the event of future disasters like Hurricane Sandy. A total of $200 million was awarded for facility repairs, rebuilding and renovation; uncompensated operational costs; and support and social services for those impacted by Superstorm Sandy. Partnership with Children received one of the largest human services grants in New York State, and we are proud to be able to play such an important role in this work.
