October is Bullying Prevention Month
Partnership with Children works with schools to help our students become allies for one another – to stop bullying before it begins. We help our students and educators build their social emotional skills to create safer, more inclusive school environments.
Partnership with Children’s school program helps schools to take a proactive approach in the battle against bullying. We train students and staff in peer mediation and conflict resolution, giving all students tools for appropriate and non-confrontational communication. We promote group work to allow each student to establish a role, take on responsibility and be part of a team; and seek to help all students find their voice and demonstrate their talents so that every student finds their place in the school community.
Partnership with Children integrates curriculum into the school and classroom that can open students’ eyes to a world outside of their own, leading students to become more aware and tolerant of others in school and in their community.
